THE HAPPYRAJ --Kingdom of Happiness

What is it like, the life in the Happyraj?

When they go to the Happyraj or the Kingdom of Happiness, almost all of
them are tired after the long party in the HappiCraft and therefore  they
spend the next day sleeping or relaxing.  The first day becomes a day of exploration.

The Happyraj is a resort of a different nature

Accommodation, food and drinks are free. So  is medical care. The difference is that alcohol
and  meat products are not available in any of the self-service outlets which are opened 24
hours a day. Sickness due to over drinking or overeating are not experienced in
the Happyraj. The safety standards are very high.

  • The other difference is that you are not expected to disturb any person, other than
your tutors. Therefore, all the resident guests at  the Happyraj live in an environment of
anonymity. They are advised by tutors to look into their own interiors. In
the absence of any other thing to do,you are obliged to respect the
wisdom of the tutors and focus your attention on self. You can
call it  the reality, the truth or the life
  • .A small room with a comfortable bed
and several pieces of basic  furniture are made available.
  • The most important piece of equipment is a high-powered
computer which can be used   by you  to learn many of the skills that
you need to improve your levels of happiness.
  • There cannot be any competition among the guests at the Happyraj, because there
is 100% equality among them. Even what they have to wear is identical because it is
    provided free.
  • All lines of communication with the rest of the world are controlled. Therefore you
cannot be disturbed by events that are taking place in the rest of the world or even
    at your own home..

So, what can the guests do?

The activities at the Happyraj are highly organized. There are several options. If you select the right
path, the  first few days are 100%  meditation. You are taught how to meditate while seated, walking or
while eating or drinking. Meditating for about 10 hours a day becomes a good exercise.

At first you will experience pains in the joints and muscles, after being seated  for long hours. Then
you keep on meditating while walking. It is very easy. Experiencing and making observations about
pains in the limbs and in the muscles at the initial stages is also pure meditation. That is one way
how you can understand your own self—the world within you. While at the Happyraj, your entire world
is confined to the distance between your head and the toes. You are also given an opportunity to
listen to  or participate in discussions about the body and the mind. These discussions open
your minds to the realities of the world and therefore contribute to change and remodel
your attitudes and behaviour patterns.

After the seventh  day, the structured meditation ends, but you are requested to adhere strictly
to a time schedule, which permits you to do anything you like subject to the approval of the tutors.
That is to  experience  out by yourselves what you have discovered.

You can learn the operation of computers to strengthen your mind power by reading the
pages which are the results of carefully structured research; you can  even play games
such as chess. You also can learn the skills of using computers for modeling or animations.
You can even go swimming in the rivers which are 100% safe. Or practise yoga or karate

How long can one enjoy the free offerings by King Happyraj?

The initial package is for ten days. If you can convince your tutors that you are going to
benefit from  a longer stay you can get it extended even for a month.

The Happyraj from a different perspectives

The observations given below were based on a  common questionnaire,  that was
designed to find out the responses of a wider category of people about the life styles
in the HappiCraft and Happyraj. The main question was

How do you see your life in the Happyraj?  What type of difference can it make in your
approach to Happiness?
  • As a medical practitioner I can say that all sides have been looked into. You
try to develop both, the mind and the body. They are two separate
entities. Meditation will improve your mind as well as reduce your
levels of stress and also the  blood cholesterol. Lots of
benefits. The environment will free you from  most of your ailments, the
majority of which are emotionally induced.

  • I am a student. I  look at it from a different perspective. It really
gave me an opportunity to look at my own self. It gave me an
opportunity to peep deep into the inside of my own head.
This was one thing I learned at the meditation classes.

  • I am a professional.  In our style of life we do not have time to look at our
own lives. Our minds are always focused on making money. All the money
we make cannot buy the happiness we experience in the Kingdom. It opens
our minds to unlimited opportunities,  or you may call places to look for happiness.
I think we are on the right track. It is not the money that matters.

  • I am a clerk. The absence of the opposite sex makes the place more safe or free.
You do not have to worry about anything. It gave me an opportunity to look at our
value structure. What we are doing in search of happiness, always make us more unhappy.
I wonder whether we are teaching our younger generation the right structure of values.

  • I am in business. The life in Happyraj is free. There is no competition and no body
knows who you are. You are not important to others and they are not important to me.
I go my way and they go on their own way. It gave me an opportunity to look into my
internal values. Why we do some of the things that are glorified by the society appears
to be mad things as far as happiness is concerned? As such I need not make millions
to buy happiness. It is free. You got to make up your mind. Only that.

  • As a teacher I think we are not doing the right thing with the  younger groups. We give
them a wrong set of values for them to go after. At the end of the day, they do almost
everything just to pass the day or to impress on others about their superiority. No body
looks at the real future. Solitary walks in the  woods and swimming in the river gave me
sufficient time and experience to think and  be happy for a very long time.

  • As a computer man I appreciate the way how a series of fire walls have been built
around Happyraj to prevent unhappiness from creeping into your head. I like the idea
of segregating the sexes and hiding the importance of personalities.  Here everyone
is equal and  no one can find out who you are. There is a lot of freedom.

  • As a trader what I see is that, if your basics for human sustenance such as food, clothing,
shelter and medicine are made available,  you do not have to worry about those things.
When they are looked after all what you  need is to look at your internal self to find out
what you are going to do with your life and the time available to you.
